After many, many times of us begging, pleading, crying, we're finally going to get it. Animal Crossing: City Folk for Wii. We're going to have to wait just a little longer though. The game is due to come out this winter. But almost after being 3 years since Wild World came out, nobody is really complaining.
Animal Crossing: City Folk is still the Animal Crossing formula that we all know and love but with many new additions. First off to addition to the town that you live in, you can visit a city that hosts many familiar character and not-so-familiar one's. At the city you can buy clothes, get a new hair-style from Harriet, or watch a comedy show starring Dr. Shrunk. Also in City Folk, you can use your Mii as a character. Or if you don't feel like starting all over again, you can take your character from Wild World and transfer it on to City Folk. City Folk has already been announced to support Nintendo Wi-Fi and to have free downloadable content.
Animal Crossing: City Folk will also be the first Wii game to support the WiiSpeak microphone peripheral. With WiiSpeak, you can talk to your distant friends while meeting each other over Nintendo Wi-Fi. WiiSpeak performs like a speaker-phone; you just put it on top of your T.V., sit down on the couch and talk.
Animal Crossing: City Folk is a rare gem that you shouldn't miss out on. Come back to check in on updates on the game.
